I'll be outside our NAMM 2020 booth this year (Just got my confirmed airfare). Anyone from the PDF, stop by say hi and we can take a selfie!

NAMM is something I’ll probably never get to experience. From what I’ve heard it’s mainly DJ equipment now .

Still lot's of drums guitar & Amp companies but turning more into a consumer show vs trade show.

Yes. GMS told me back in the day all they did is write orders. Now they say it’s a waste of money.

I imagine the advent of the internet—complete with online catalogues, photos, videos, reviews, and online shopping—began the slow death of the trade show in many retail industries. The trade shows in my industry are only trade shows because the end consumers aren't Joe Public.

Met this guy after a sold out show at Ronnie Scotts in London last night. Protocol 30 absolutely killed it, what a show. I could've talked with SP all evening, such a genuine guy.

Wow, I had no idea he was playing there! I'd have definitely gone to that rather than the firework display I was at

Any reason they won't let you in the booth? Sounds kinda "sketchy"
