hmm no this is last years model i believe.

the one on display had their new/ reissued original turret lugs, i thiiink the shells themselves may be the same(i didn't make it to NAMM this year) because i saw some new Acacia Snare drums with those turret lugs on Reverb already.

the Acacia shell tone is awesome though, pretty unique yet versatile.

Ahh - I honestly just glanced at it and took a couple pics so memory's a tad fuzzy (and there may have been wine involved that day)....Right on....still a beauty....

TVT, very classy and so nice to see custom brand drums that are not so commercial! What are the shells made of!

The drums are gorgeous but don’t match the pointy guitars on the wall behind them.

ah dont think they're custom per se.. lol but the wood is called Acacia [uh-kay-shuh] . a bit denser than Maple. these drums are 4ply with matching reinforcement rings.

drums sound like Walnut on steroids. lots of attack, and a low end growl thats very aggressive.
reminds me of like a jazz kit, that wants to rock . the 20" kick is the best i've ever heard.
