I wholeheartly agree with Thrush. I would consider this kit more if I could get it with fully finished hoops. For now, the new Tama SC Walnut Birch kit will be my first choice. Yes, to me it's that important and looks that much better. It's silly you have to get a MRV/Ref/Masterworks just to get that small feature, should not cost that much more in production...

I know this is gotten out of hand IMO. Most of the mfg's do it obviously because it's less labor and they want people to look up a level of drums to get those. In the 90's.. Pearl Export's had fully finished very nice , pro -looking hoops.
