That's what I was saying about Pearl having longer bars...the newer PCR200/200L clamps would make it a snap with a 48" bar....I used 2 PR200's with how I have the setup now and it worked pretty well....

I like the look of the two legs as well.
Personally, I would prefer the RJ50 clamp to be shorter yet, but that's only because I don't position my bass drums in such a "legs spread wide open" configuration. I guess I'm a bit of a prude that way. My bass drums almost touch, but having 24's probably helps in that regard.

That being said, I also like how Zonder has the one bar across the whole kit concept that Jonah Hex is referring to.

Yeah, like I said if Pearl had a 48" bar, or maybe a 52, I could do it with what I have...

This rack is the original DR-2. Same as the DR-1, only wider for double bass....

Yeah - I measured my side bars, those *are* 48" or so - so what I'd like to see is a 54 or maybe even a 56" bar that could be used to single bar the front....what I did works great tho so not complaining - the new rack bits that Pearl released are really useful in that regard....

Oh, thanks! That would explain the two bass drums, then.
