Looking great Jonah! One of my favorite drummers Bill Bruford positioned his hi-hat simuliar to yours although he only used one and was always a single bass pedal player! Awesome job on your set up!

Installed Kelly Shu's in the kicks using their new No-Drill wiring system....works quite well. Instead of mounting it directly to the kick, however, I've mounted the external end of the cable to the rack. The kit's not moving from the spot it's in, and since the mount for the XLR connector is made for non-recessed tension rods, this works for me.

Shu, no-drill kit, and Shure Beta 52:

Looks incredibly nice. Any videos out? I'd like to hear the bass drums together!

Thanks! And no, not yet - I'm being extremely lazy in recording anything and I have to get my space set up for some writing sessions coming up so have been trying to get cabling done for other stuff.....I'll see what I can do here in the next week....I have some audio from when I had it fully mic'd but haven't had time to mix it down yet.....

I imagine they’ll sound like this: “BOOM! boom. BOOM! boom.”
