    Okay, I gotta share one more guy. I'm almost tempted to start a new thread, but I don't want to clutter up the forum with random YouTube videos. Dude is so smooth, though.

    THAT is amazing.....that guy master this style (samba) for sure. he has a super steady and accurate bass drum wich is what is needed to not loose it in a capharnaum of random drumming all around. tastefull drumming right there....i pretty much like when he does switch in triple swing for a moment ; he then could let all the horse power going loose,but nope, he stay on ''topic''' . liked it great.

    See- I find that solo the total antithesis of “taste”.

    JY...my reply was directed to the second video posted by MR COX. not the opening vid: there is no solo in there. drummer is a part of a band playing a samba song.
