Default Name me songs you like, but you’d never buy the entire album.

I just got a few iTunes gift cards for the holidays. I don’t want to waste it on albums I would buy in their entirety.

back in the days, most bands we were listening to, could offer -3-4 truely hooked songs on an album. these days, you'd get 1,maybe 2 hits ,and the rest is often filling material to be polite. so yeah, for me, an album must be well tought in its entirety to get to the point of buying it.

Its the opposite with me, if I like a particular song I go buy the Album that its on...then I'm in for a surprise to see what else is on there that I might like. Was certainly the case with the latest CDs which were a few from Porcupine Tree.

I do that too. It’s just when I’m going to buy the entire album, I want a physical copy. In this case an iTunes selection is best when people are pretty much telling me the rest of an album is not worth buying.
