Dang, that's a sharp looking kit! The satin chrome is very classy. The pinkish hues in the shell would cause me to catch a lot of grief from my fellow band members. Jus' sayin'.

Nice to see that kit again, great score. Many would say fitting a BB3 is sacrilege, more so on a MW. Whatever works for your use of it!

The BB3 IS an aesthetic sacrilege. Slapping it on a MW is why we can’t have nice things.

I have a BB3 on my 18" Reference Bass Drum and I love it! It is very convenient.

When I first got the kit and shared photos on FB, some of my friends went nuts calling it the 'pink kit'. Some of 'em still do when they want to annoy me!! It's a weird finish. You can see the grain better when it's pinker, but it looks much more purple under natural light or in a bar etc.. I figured the kit just has different moods...

Yeah, can't do that really, 'coz both the floors are actually on an Opti, so it'd have to be at least two sided, and I also play with an aux snare and splashes, so it'd have to be three sided. It's a lot of weight and bulk to put in an already packed van for gigs...

Ok, so what I'm hearing is fit a BB3 and get killed. I gotchya!

Just as a thought experiment though, a BB3 isn't always the worst thing ever...
