    As I’ve said, gorgeous kit. But there’s something about the DR-80... it’s squeezes the kicks together too much for me.

    That's just the way you set them up. I have my DR-80 for about 10 years and never had any issues with the bass drums

    I have the same set up as you Stef. The only thing I want to change is the length of the horizontal square bars. They stick out way too far and take up a lot of unneeded floor space.

    That's what ended up having to do with mine. If I recall correctly, I think I took three inches off each end on all four sides.
