After watching the videos of Ray Luzier playing the various Modern Utility Snare Drum's, I came interested in them and definitely liked the price point. After some debating, I purchased the 14" x 8" SD. Although I don't plan on incorporating it into my drum set playing, I will use it for brushing up on my rudiments. Let me tell you, even with the stock heads, the tuning ranges, low, med and high are easily met and the drum really does look excellent! Very happy with this purchase!

Thanks Matt. I think with a few modification's, heads of course, snares and possibly some rims, this will turn out to be really nice SD.

Beautiful drum. I'm looking at the 14 x 6.5. Great price for a quality SD

Those are nice snare drums and a great value.

Everything can be easily upgraded on them too, if necessary.
