Default Three of my 4 kits

Pictured are three of my 4 current drum sets.

The Ludwig kit was originally owned by Bun E Carlos of Cheap Trick fame. 24/12/16 Legacy Classic Maple kit. First kit Ludwig made in this series with a birdseye maple outer veneer. The lacquer finish is a one off as well. all the shells have been signed inside by Bun E.
This kit is up for sale on Reverb currently .

The Noble and Cooley Horizon is my favorite Modern kit. 20/10/12/14/16 with a matching 24" bass drum due to arrive this week.
Maple shells with an inner ply of African mahogany. Incredibly easy to dial in.

The Slingerland kit was purchased at the 2018 Chicago Vintage Drum Show. It is a Buddy Rich 80 N model in factory Mahogany finish. The finish is actual ribbon mahogany. 24/13/16/16 with matching 5" TDR snare. 5 ply maple/poplar shells. A superb sounding kit , old growth wood and really nice workmanship , my favorite vintage drum manufacturer.

    Default My other kit

My 4th drum set , made by Canadian Drum Manufacturer TRS Custom drums. Maple shells with african mahogany inner ply.
The inner and outer plies are vertical grain orientation, which really enhances the bottom end on these kits. The finish is a Caribbean Blue burst gloss acrylic lacquer. Slingerland repor stick saver hoops and Radio King lugs. 20/12/14 with matching 6" snare with Gibraltar wood hoops.
