    Default My mod in work

I'm working on a modified rack to eliminate cymbal stands on my 4 and 5 piece kits.
Had to black out my mod, sorry.

He is a drum tease. Probably just perfecting it, before showing it.

He never showed his last mod as I remember, teased it for ages too.

Was going to comment on your "mod", but after thinking about it, I should probably black out my comments on a public forum, so no one will see them, as I wish to be as least informative as possible...

In the late 70s I lost a great cymbal because the wind blew it over onto the concrete driveway. Ever since then I have been using a rack of some form or another. Usually I use the Gibraltar clamps but....I'm cheap so I go down to the local hardware store and buy the 11/4" light weight metal conduit in the electrical section. For $12 I get 10 feet of straight bars that I can bend any way I want to at a muffler shop. PLUS... I can spray paint it any color for another $5.

    Dude... that's seriously so funny!

I really don't get all the secrecy in the Bern thread. Highly doubt he's going to get a patent using other people's hardware...
