That was really neat. I was going to bail on the first video, then I saw how you utilized all of the different parts of your standing washkit... cool! What kind of sticks did you use in the second video? They seemed even lighter than timbale sticks.

Now that is a contraption kit! You could use two drum keys on the tension rods to hold the washboard in place. That was really cool and I enjoyed the music. The only thing I didn't like is that your bandmates are not impressed with your playing. . . do we need to talk to them?

Yes it is LP timbales sticks , a bit thinner than the mallet sticks.
I use the same sticks with Tama butts to get some very soft mallet sticks on my fibreglass bars xylophone :
