Hi,
About this America s model from bergerault the bar s sound is less bright than the musser. the surface is rawless too that would help to save the mallet from scratches while dampning.
The very bad point is the pedal making noise and unscrewing everytime.

Wow!! make a very soothing sound aye!! thanks for sharing...got me wondering if playing some background music was necessary.
making one miss out on the different notes.
