back in the days those were viewed as shallow drums.completely square siszes were the norm, and 24'' BD had all the love after years of 26'' crazyness lol. i can't say i loved the limited tom set up options we were used to : striking the drums forearms nearly vertical lol, or kept flater , hoops at the height of your stomach .
your coral red kit is a very clean echo from the past.back then i had my phil collins alike natural finished DLX sporting 24's,and honestly, finishes options were quite restricted considering the amazing finishes available since couple decades.
.pfffft....how the technical aspect in stance, grip, positionning has changed ; what is taught now is forearms parallele nearly flat to the ground in a very organic stance ,so thanks god no more large bd's and squared sized drums.
