    Default Double Pedal Bag

Looking for a padded bag for my Pearl double pedal. I don't want to have to take it apart to make it fit. What's everyone using?

I've seen some Pearl pedals in Pearl bags but can't find one for sale.

Al, were the bags for these pedals included? I was just wondering if they were and Musicians Friend just didn't send it.

As I've said, I've seen some of these pedals for sale ( used ) and they have a Pearl pedal bag.

If not, is there somewhere I can purchase one?

I have never seen a bag that will hold a double pedal without at least removing the rod that connects pedals.

Removing the shaft wouldn't be to big of deal as long as there was a separate compartment for it. So the shaft and pedals don't scratch and ding each other.

I have a bag ( not a pedal bag ) that I can put them in and only have to remove the beaters. But there is zero padding and the pedals rub each other.

I tried to fit them in a hard shell Tama Speed Cobra case. Even with releasing the springs ( and I don't like that ) they wouldn't fit. Pearl long beds are just to wide.

I've seen many cases on line but don't want to order something and not have a good fit.

    Rocker,

I have those same pedals as a pair of singles but transport them in one bag; Gator Protechtor Bag GP-66 for Double Bass Drum Pedal

Bag is well-padded. Much more so than the Protection Racket double bags. Pouch on top for beaters (and the linkage for your double).
Yes, the pedals will touch footboard to footboard. But I haven't incurred any damage or even scratches as far as I can tell.

$50 at Interstate Music; so it's a bargain compared to the Protection Racket bags.

This Axis Case might work. It would allow you to keep the beaters attached. you would have to make sure the base measurement matches.Name: 20150421_090847.jpg

So I stopped at GC Bridgeton Mo. and they have a great drum guy now. Found a Pearl pedal case and said " I've been looking for one of these!" He told me " oh, that goes with the pedal, but I have one behind the service counter. Someone apparently bought a floor model and didn't receive the case!"

He went to find out if he could sell it out right.

    $25!

It's a single pedal case ( I believe ) but I'm going to make a better divider than the old footy slipper. ( I put that in there just so parts don't rub)

The double pedal fits so I think it was a nice score!
