I bought a gorgeous 6x14 Collector's Maple/Mahogany with exotic outer ply from cymbalfusion today. They have an awesome selection, and gave me a very nice deal. I hope it arrives safely.

Cannot wait to see that, you doing any mods to it? or just leaving it stock? Either way it sounds like a gorgeous drum (though we know that anyway, if it wasn't, it wouldn't be going in your collection )

I love the looks of your last one and the sentimental value behind the Ludwig.

I only plan to replace the plastic snare wire straps and possibly the heads. This is a drop-dead gorgeous drum. Thanks to JC for the tip to shop at cymbalfusion!
