    Default Pearl Fiberglass drums

I just picked up some Pearl Fiberglass toms in White Marine Pearl (WMP). The sizes are 14", 16", and 16". Yes, TWO 16" floor toms. I am on the hunt for a bass and any size in WMP is fine with me.

I love the WMP wrap on these drums.

If anyone has leads on a bass in WMP, please let me know.

    Thanks!

Thanks 3PK. I haven't been on the PDF much recently. Glad to see you are still a frequent poster and great source of knowledge on this crazy hobby of ours.

    So mate,
What badges are on the shells you have already?
I guess that's only really an issue to make a kit look right, but WMP was available from 75-6 through to about 83...

What is it about the fiberglass attracts you? This is different than acrylics?

Definitely more durable than acrylics, at the very least)

I've still got my Pearl hard Rock Fibreglass kit. Bought it 1982. It's still awsome. 24 kick. 18 floor. 14 & 15 rack. All in Orange Flash. Wish I could find the wrap though.

Am now working on extending my kick from 24 x 14 to 24 x 20. Using an old Maple kick as the 6" donor part as fibre glass kits are "hens teeth". Should be an interesting mash up of fibreglass and wood.
