I have 13" new beats too, should've mentioned that, and the 14s are hardly used, I much prefer the crispness and feel of 13's overall. I've decided to take the trade, looking at the current prices for both sets, i've won out.

Thanks for taking the time to reply though Dale.

Love my 13" Paragons. Really like the feel of 13" hats.

Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble suck. It's total T-shirt-tucked-into-jeans music. They sound like the karaoke version of their own music. Who uses a ping ride for the blues?

I will die on this hill.

Edit: this is a carryover post from an argument I want to have on the DFO, but the post I was responding to got deleted.

Blues in general bores me to tears. It’s just so damn predictable. You have to be a real badass for me to listen to it.

I also hate Since I've Been Loving You. As the biggest Zeppelin fan any of you have ever or will ever meet, that says a lot. It's the only Zeppelin song I could never again listen to and be perfectly happy.

I find it boring, insipid, predictable and pedestrian to the point of tears.

Stevie Ray Vaughn’s playing on David Bowie’s Let’s Dance is amazing though.

Stevie Ray Vaughan not sounding like Stevie Ray Vaughn is the only time Stevie Ray Vaughan was any good.

He doesn't sound a thing like Hendrix, either. That's like saying Dave Grohl sounds like John Bonham cause he really likes him. I swear to God, if any musician I knew couldn't tell which version of Little Wing was which I'd delete their number.

That goes for his voice, too. There's only one song I've heard of his where I thought he sounded like a black guy. Growing up that's all I heard about him. "SRV is so great! When he hit the scene we thought he was this hardened old blues player, but it was this white dude!"

You ****in' boomers forgot what the blues sounded like the minute you put on your white Seinfeld hi-tops. Get out of here with your candy apple red Recording Customs.
