Nice kit but the head logos should all be at the front

I know I should, I just lined them up with the badge on the snare, but I have my throw off close. The tom head is strangely lined up with the mount which it has been since it came from the factory. Will change it round at some point though.

On another note, I can’t speak highly enough of my local Natal rep and the customer service. Found a mark in the lacquer of the bass drum batter hoop, so a new set of matching hoops have just been dispatched for me, free of charge. Can’t fault that.

I've always lined up the head logos with the tom badges, but then it always looks odd as the badges are never facing forwards! Next time I will do it differently

Its great to have super customer service, these days so often once a company takes your money they don't give a hoot.

I’m glad to now be good friends with my rep, Steve, makes little things like that much quicker to rectify. 2 emails and I was sorted.

I was out playing the big white kit this morning, wondering why I ever bought another 10 kits after that. Glad I have a handle on that now. I could give them all away, except for that one kit. Message to you buddy, that sometimes gets lost on these sites. Learning to play is much more important than buying and cleaning drums.

Indeed it is, as much as I love my gear, the playing is always the most important, drums are more than ornaments, they are tools. I'm glad for all the tuition i've had, as i've said in other threads, the guy behind my success is this guy, my teacher, grandad and biggest influence. I wouldn't be going to do a degree at a music school if it wasn't for him, among many other musicians who I've met and had the pleasure to watch play, or play with.

Bit of backstory to this, about 30 years ago, my grandfather played in a band called Martin Stephenson and the Daintees, these were quite big in the UK, getting a few number 1's and doing the TV rounds, but never wanting the fame (video from that time period below - Grandad on kit, wait for the fill near the end). Anyway, Martin Stephenson recently contacted me to see if my grandad was still gigging and doing sessions, he is as busy as ever, and saw that I played. This lead to this post online. Grandad and I were both incredibly humbled, certainly the praise of the praiseworthy.
