Default Some of my new snare additions!

Some of my recent new snare additions!
    -Yamaha Seamless Brass 5.5x14 (SD4105)
    -Pearl Reference 6.5x14 (20 Ply)
    -Remo Bravo II (Acousticon)
    -Ludwig Suoraphonic 5x14
    -Pearl Custom Classic
    -Gretsch Full Range Maple 5x14

I used to have an older version of this drum with the blocky lugs and I quickly regretted letting it go. This one is in much better condition. This is essentially a Manu Katche snare minus the black nickel.

    Default Pearl Reference 6.5x14

I already had a 6.5x13 Reference snare and loved it so I knew Iíd adore this one. I got it with a Pearl Masters Studio kit that I picked up and the whole package was a really good deal! This one will take your head off!

    Default Remo Bravo 2 snare

This one is the surprise of the bunch! I found it for really cheap at $50 and decided to get it on a whim. It sounds really good; full of tone, sensitive, has crazy crack. It’s a nice sounding drum... a real sleeper.

Default Gretsch Full Range Maple 5x14

This is another one I found for super low and it was sold as a Gretsch Catalina snare. This is a nice all around snare; very versatile. The last pic is of my current full snare collection.

Those fools! The Supraphonic was /is not a student drum. The Acrolite and the Standard snare were student drums. Same aluminum alloy shell, but the Supraphonic had 2 more lugs (10) and the shell was chromed. It's hilarious when you find them listed as "student" or as "weather master" snares!

The Supraphonic is the most recorded snare in history! Great drum, and a hella deal at $150.
