    I turned an orphan 14x8 Premier pancake tom into a snare that sounds pretty great! Great pickup!
    -Tama Granstar II Birch (12x11, 16x16, 22x16)
    -Pearl Mixed Series kit (8x7, 10x8, 16x14, 20x14)

    I love old vintage Premier's. I still have my 60's era kit. Check the floor tom, they're usually 16x15 rather than 16x16. Are they the 3ply shells? It wouldn't let me enlarge the pics, but I didn't see re-rings around the bearing edges

    They are the 3 ply birch shells with beech re-rings, except the 26" which is mahogany. You should be able to click on the pics to view them in full resolution on flickr.

    Same as mine then (birch 12, 14 and 16, mahogany 22)

    As for enlarging - when I click a pic I'm asked to log in. When I log in I just get this

    Aha. I had forgotten to change the privacy settings on the pics in the first post. It should work now.
