I liked the matte black until I saw the bass drum. It looked striped! I was really hoping for more SSC finishes in lacquer. I do like the other wraps offered though. Go Pearl!

I’d like to pre-order one of these kits. Do you have anymore close-up photos of the finishes?

Is the black halo-flake on these new Sessions the same as the finish on Brian Frasier-Moore’s Masterworks?
Kind of. In different light it shows off a rainbow of different colors. It looks a little like the Eric Singer comet sparkle but the flakes are smaller.

It is basically piano black with halo flakes over the clear coat. It is a nice looking lacquer. I think the new series and all the color selections are nice.

That's for clearing that up. I was thinking this was a wrap. These may be my new kit!

    That would be sweet!

All the finishes are amazing looking. I think Pearl really has something going with these new Sessions! They are a lot of drum for the money. The finishes, hardware, shells, and a free floor tom!?!?! Hard to beat (no pun intended)!

Wish there was an 18" BD in the line, I know you can convert a floor, but proper spurs and finished hoops (and a shallower depth) would be nicer.
Pearl, Natal, Ludwig, Tama, Slingerland, Premier Drums
    Zildjian, Sabian, Zyn Cymbals
PEARL, LUDWIG, TAMA, YAMAHA, NATAL and DW Snares

Roland, Dauz, FAT KAT and Koby Electronics, and loads of Percussion

4 Kits and 8 Snares, and I still don't have enough!
