    Default G Series or not? Identification needed :)

    Seller says: G Series

    I say: DLX

    Who's right?

    I looked at pics and in my opinion it's not a G series or a DLX .. it's an 83 BLX 414D .. interior is Birch and bearing edge shows thicker 6 ply shell that became the standard .. G series were 8 thin plies

    I'm hopeless at picking wood type from pics, but I'm still in a quandry though, as there is no reference to any Birch based shells in the '83 catalogue, or the '83 price list.

    Would you please go to the G series snare in my sig and see what you think that is made of shell wise...
