I love the ring you left in the snare. It sounds great. You don't see many guys using telecaster-type guitars in metal. That was cool.

Hello, fellow Pearl Reference Purple Craze 1 (yes, 1!) owner/player! You have a great looking and sounding kit. Here is mine, if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4lW8dS4kOk

What are your thoughts on the curved rack vs a mounting stand? How do you feel when using it compared to a mounting stand? Does it make any difference to resonance?

For double bass kits I prefer curved rack because is more practical due to time, same setup and stability. For small kits I use cymbal stands. Im not sure if I understand right your question about difference to resonance - What do you mean?

Awesome man! I've had two double bass kits and I've never been completley satisfied with my kits but yours is simply gorgeous. I love the playing in that song of yours. Are you a touring band?

Oh, thank you very much! Im very satisfied with my kit but a lately I thinking about rebuild my kit for three toms in front. I want try it because in my second band I using 8" tom a lot. So I hope that will be possible, because I don't want change degree of my curved rack due to space around kit. I tried 20x14 gong drum and it was incredible! I've been thinking about it for a long time, but it will be very difficult to find it in first Purple Craze color
Thank you very much for praise! Yes, we are still active and we play concerts mostly in the Czech Republic and occasionally in Slovakia and in Vienna in Austria. But now we play with one guitarist, because second leave us and now we concentrate for writing new songs for our first cd.

Cool man! I played for a year with 10, 12 and 14 as racktoms on my previous kit, ridiculous, but it was some great fun. And the 8 was attached to the hihat stand but I never played with a rack though.

Nice! A few years back I only played with stands because I hasnt rack (I use rack only for double bass kit) - mainly for short gigs - 22" kick 10",12" toms and 14" (or 16)"flor.
I play such concerts sometimes even with a smaller set without rack and it is good and so much fun too.
    I found some pics
