I also got all new Zildjian cymbals.

The Matte Black is a great finish. It looks classy and won't go out of style.

dammm/ too late, my matte natural and bombay sparkle are on special order and cannot be changed. I love the black matte finish here, I may have to get one down the road.

And by that, he means "I may have to get one as soon as my new kits arrive".

I think I am gonna stick with the masters kits, I really like what pearl did with these new shells and the kick drums are fantastic. I liked the Hybrid maple kits, but there were some things I would definitely change on them. I would get rid of the die cast hoops for one thing, then I would change the hook lugs to the absolute lugs, and I would drop that wenge ply gimmick and go back to the all maple MCA shell. The MCA was their best sounding kit, not sure why they didn't leave good enough alone. I would also bring back the BCA, (Birch Custom Absolute) but I think we both know that will never happen either. As far as pearl goes, I would also like to try out the new session birch mahogany drums, LOVE Mahogany.
