I was wrong. That snare looks great with the kit as a whole. The flat black would've killed that.

You had better pic up a pair of new underwear for the bar owner, 'cause he's gonna $#*+!

Nice work buddy. Kit looks great. Good on you for doing this. Shows a good heart. Nice tape job on the head hoops.

Thanks Glen, and thanks for the tip! It's small, but makes a big difference in my opinion!

Drums are back in their home, the look great and sound even better. Owner wasn't there at the time though. They will get broken in this Thursday for jam night and I will try to get a quick video of them in action.

You did a fine job Mark. What a difference it made from where it started. It is stunning!

Thanks Andy, it was an incredible transformation aesthetically and acoustically. I can't wait to try them out tonight and hear them from the audience stand point.

Just because here is a before and after from roughly the same place and angle (though with the before the stage lightning was not on) Name: image-3850368302.jpg

    Thanks.

I got to play them last night at Jam night and kind of got the hear them from the audience (the other drummer there last night was a very light hitter) But they sounded GREAT and that kick has some awesome punch to it when behind the kit at least, not sure about out front but others told me it sounded real good and cut through the mix easily with no mic (of which it did not do previously)
