And mine was $379 US brand new. Unless you're talking Gretsch roundbadges, drums usually never appreciate in value, so his price and knowledge are way out of whack.

Beautiful Snare LS92! The seller obviously doesn’t know what he’s talking about. It doesn’t bother me. If you change your mind let me know.

I decided to get a wine red Maple Free Floater Shell from Bentley’s Drum Shop in Fresno California. I will keep looking for a Matching MHX Snare but it might take some time. The Shell will be here tomorrow (fri) . It looks in the photos fairly close. I will post pics

That's a solid choice. In fact, I'd rather have a maple than mahogany snare shell. You just can't go wrong with a nice maple snare.

Default Red wine Free Floater Shell.

I just bought a Red wine Free Floater Shell from Bentley’s Drum Shop on Reverb. The color is really close to the MHX Kit color . I would recommend Bentley’s Drum Shop to anyone !

Just for [email protected] & giggles I messaged the seller of the matching MHX over the weekend. He still wants $589.00 wwwwhut? I just asked if he could post snare side pics and a close up of the badge he initially claimed vehemently was a MCX Red Maple Snare. It turns out it is what I claimed to be all along . A Masters Mahogany Classic Snare. Now he claims itís a 2014? Wrong! 2000 to 2006.

No wonder itís been for sale for 2 years. I know I made the right decision going with the Red wine FF Shell

I used to get disgusted, now I try to be amused.

I took a couple close up pics of the MHX at rehearsal last nite I left te 10 & 14 toms at home.. I told my wife I’m no longer interested in finding the matching snare after getting the red wine FF Shell but she doesn’t believe me

Your wife has you pegged. You may be a little less interested in finding the matching snare, but “no longer interested,” not a chance.

I for sure see a matching snare in Paul’s future. 100% absolutely.
