Thx Marv , This Kit has hardly any dings with minimal hardware pitting for its age . I do believe the hunt for the Holy grail has ended.(yeah sure) but this is exciting to find these rare drums. 10 years ago I was in a band that occasionally did a double band show at a popular music venue and the drummer in the other band had a MHX he let me play. At the time I had just bought my BSX Bronze Glitter. We traded of kits at alternating shows once a year and I said to him if you ever want to sell it let me know . His reply was NEVER!

That's a beauty Paul! I bet the sound is warm yet plenty of punch! I've never had the opportunity to play one but I remember Al's recovered in Pewter Glass. I'm glad that you've discovered that Red Drums sound best. I'm pretty ready to play again and might have a jam set up with a former guitar player that had to quit for family situation. His brother plays bass. We'll see. I'm about to start looking.

Thx Eric & Lonny . I knew if I waited GC would have sold it quickly. It was only for sale a couple of days. It sounds incredible!Good luck on playing . I might go back to just one band the other project isn’t going anywhere. It might be time to move on.

    Default More MHX pics

Let me know when you guys have seen enough. I picked up tom legs for the 14 ft at Cascio Music today and the only thing that is needed is reso heads. I remember when these came out and they were around 4 grand. I guess a 20 year wait for $850.00 is not that bad after all.
