What happened to Nova's Thread ?

Congrats Lonny on the Carvin 18s. I have been thinking of getting some myself. My gas is kicking in again but cash is tight and I don’t want sell anything in order to get them. Our bass player bought a Carvin powered mixer about a year ago . It’s a 6 channel 800 watt that weighs about 20 lbs. It works well for our needs. No more lugging all that pa gear. We do use my Yamaha 15 two way club speakers regularly and they have worked flawlessly for over 20 years. If we play a larger venue we hire a sound company or one is provided.

The Carvins sound great and aren't as heavy as my 2 Yamahas with 15" speakers. Lead guitarist last night showed up drunk and blasted songs he didn't know so we stopped early and I had to kick him to the curb. I think I found a new guitarist today that's new here from new Orleans. My other guitarist is going to play with him and tell us how he does later today.
