RIP Ginger. His drumming was and still is a huge influence for me also. He will be missed.

Tonight they play three sets. First and third are with an orchestra. Until I saw the set list, I never gave much thought as to how many of their recorded songs are with an orchestra. So instead of piping in the orchestra, they’ll have one complete with conductor.

The orchestra was amazing. Pete Townshend said they practiced with the orchestra for just one week. Only true professionals could master all those songs in just one week. The violinist who played the lead at the end of Baba O’Riley was incredible. She was up and dancing with Roger Daltrey and it was obvious that she was having a blast and was fantastic at the same time.

That sounds amazing Marv. My wife had cataract surgery last week on one eye and this week on the other. She had the multi focal lenses put in. It was successful and now she has no need for glasses. Insurance doesn’t cover the multi focal lenses but we decided it was the best option. My brother commented now she might want to rethink her decision to marry me 25 years ago due to excellent vision. I told him he’s no walk on the beach either.

Lonny how is the Band situation ? Good I hope.

Next Wednesday my MHX will have the Matching 14x6.5 Snare w/Die Cast hoops & SKB padded hard case. Can’t wait .I will post pics of course!
