Default MHX gig pics last night

Thunder Drums ,Thunderbird Bass what a great combo! Itís hard to describe how great these drums sound! I played a MHX at shared show 15 years ago and I feel so fortunate to have found these Last year. It was a long wait but worth it.

Thx Lonny,I really like your Tama Bop Kit. I wish it were possible to find a matching 20 or 18 Bass for my RED (Really Excellent Drums). I ran into a Pearl Rep at Cascio Music SuperStore last week and he told me about some exciting drums coming out of Pearl Nashville this year. Single ply steam bent Snare drums,Ref grade Masters gum shells . I have my eye on a Masters Gum Kit at Cascio but to be honest it would be tough to beat the MHX or my MMP . I ordered Aluminum optimount brackets for the 12x9 & 10x8 Rack toms they should be in in a couple of weeks. I really like them on the MMP.

I have been thinking lately how much longer I want to go through all of this work when there are a lot less people interested in seeing live music performed. If I put a money value on it then it’s not but it still brings fulfillment and joy so I’m going to keep on doing it!

Good Luck with the new band Lonny!

Don't think of it as better, think of it as More Is Better.

I'm at the point (have been for a while) where I just buy for myself. You know, just to have. I've only played a few gigs in the last couple of years, and those were more to just play than anything. I consider myself long retired from the giging circuit. In fact, I've never giged my Masters. I've played out since I bought them, but the last band (Bollywood band) said the Masters were too loud, so I just gigged my Exports.

We're playing a St Patrick's Dance on March 14th. I'm going to play it on the Tama Club Jam because it's so much easier to move. I should trim my Masters to a 4 pc in the mean time. They are much louder than the cute little Tamas, and the room is an acoustic nightmare.
