Let's not start this stuff in Lonnie's thread. I think everyone has said their piece on this. We don't need to get into arguments in a thread about a guy who loves music and playing red drums, and loves his fellow musicians.
I think we can move on from this topic.

I'm not going to engage you in this other than to say that those of us who do the job for the right reasons find those who abuse the position as distasteful as you do. Trust me.

Police officers are just another example of how a group is used to bifurcate the population.

One side: POLICE OFFICERS ARE THE VERY EMBODIMENT OF FASCISM! A TOOL USED BY AUTHORITY TO BEAT DOWN THE DISENFRANCHISED OF THIS COUNTRY AND PROTECT THE POWERFUL!

Other side: POLICE OFFICERS ARE THE PERSONIFICATION OF FREEDOM AND LIBERTY! EVERY BLUE-SHIRTED HERO IS REPRESENTS ALL THAT IS GOOD WITH THE RED, WHITE, AND BLUE! IF YOU SAY SOMETHING BAD ABOUT THEM, YOU HATE FREEDOM!

Look. As with any profession, the men and women in blue have those who have no business in that job. But the good ones far outnumber the bad. It's not a binomial argument.

That they are. I almost bought a red Export set back in '87 but decided on black since it was easier to match. I have always second-guessed that decision, and Lonnie always buys red drums to taunt me.

Something tells me that no matter what color is selected you have a set that color.

    But beautiful nonetheless.

that kit is by far my fav over your whole collection.i automatically think '''le studio''' when i see this set up.neil used this '''very similar''' (concert toms high on the left) arrangement for the hemispheres and moving picture recording ....ok.maybe i love his old tama's a bit more than the ludwigs, but the ludwigs on counterparts were something too......i'm specifying here because i loved everything rush as much post signals than pre hemispheres.
