    So Pearl are doing 3 types of snare drum limited to 20 of each type for the 70th anniversary release.
    Not available in USA? not sure why? maybe something exclusive is going to the US market instead?

    I'm with you. They are making something special & using those bridge lugs? I don't get it. Am I the only person in the world who sees those as the most boring lugs introduced in the last 20 years? This coming from a Pearl guy, they can do better than that.

    I was on my phone & could not see that detail.

    Did I ever mention this idea I had years ago to take a Renault LeCar, jack it up in the back, add a blower & side pipes, and give it a flashy paint job with flames going down the side? I don't know why that suddenly and randomly came to mind.

    Pearl Japan does a little more of the fancy design stuff because it is popular only in Japan. If you want one of these, you can probably get it through Amazon Japan, but the shipping would be $150-200 due to the weight. But, Amazon ships fast, so you'd have it in a few days.
