    Default My 21 Piece Arctic Monster!

    21 Piece Mapex Saturn III, in Arctic White Lacquer finish.

    toms - 8 x 6, 8 x 7, 8 x 8, 10 x 8, 12 x 9, 13 x 10, 14 x 12, 15 x 13, 15 x 13, 16 x 14, 18 x 16, 18 x 16
    gong bass - 22 x 17, 22 x 18
    snares(Mapex Saturn) - 14 x 5.5, 13 x 6, 10 x 8
    bass drums - 22 x 20, 22 x 20, 18 x 16, 18 x 16

    AVH switched to Mapex.

    Interesting the outside kicks do not have wood hoops. What is your reasoning behind that?

    The 18" kicks have wood hoops on the reso sides, but triple flanged on the batter side. The reason for this is so that you can get the bass pedal closer to the batter head for a more natural beater angle.

    Thanks! I drop in from the ceiling. There is just enough room between the back wall and gong bases.
