Nice!... You gotta love a 21"sweet ride. Even tho my newer sweet ride doesn't sound near as good as my older one, still a great ride

Love the drums away from that window. It's hard to tell what we're looking at.

Other side of that door is my drum room, but with the kit and percussion rig set up already theres no space in there, and these pretty much live in their Protection Racket cases, so I needed to move them into my siblings toy area to fully set them up . Its a strange finish on them, with images of Billy Cobham and his drums, which you can tell is original by the wraps ageing, so I suspect it was originally a promotion kit for a store/ the artist/ the company.

exactly. And what do you mean by "finished"?
It is said correctly that the law exists not for the just, but the unjust as the just carry the law in their hearts and need not call it from afar.

When I got the kit from a relative, it was basically a pile of parts, mostly all there, but some needed sourcing, cleaning or replacing. Took about 3 months to complete to a gig worthy standard and is now my work horse. The real pain was the lugs, particularly on the floor tom, which were extremely brittle and broke under little tension, with the head only just finger tight. I think I replaced 7 of them in total, but bought more than needed, so I still carry spares. The bass drum legs also took some finding, to get a good length, with it being a 20" BD. Also, ended up buying new Zildjians all over, A massive upgrade from my previous ZBT's, and much nicer to play. The sweet ride plays like butter.

gotcha. Why not just replace all the lugs so you don't have to worry about them? I can understand if it's a lack of cash... I'm always in that boat.

Nice looking Imperialstar. I used to look at the old Tama catalogs and dream of them.

Its not so much a lack of cash, but I bought as many of them as I could find, and only got about 10. They are as rare as hell so it was so much trouble finding them.
