Default My debut album is out!

I think it turned out very well, even though we plan on doing singing lessons (our singer is from the north of norway so he has another accent in his way of singing, hard to explain), some drumming mistakes here and there, etc.

    Link to Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/album/0FpXG3zjwEvZICJJMYvFx8

Link to buy the album to support poor musicians: http://phonopal.com/product/deadly-eruption/

We did all of the songwriting and recording by ourselves, but the album is mixed and mastered professionally.

It's amazing what bands can do on their own anymore. Good luck.

Congrats! I don't want to be a ****, but the band font / logo is very hard to read. I actually never figured it out until I opened the link. I guess once someone's a fan they'll know what it says. It looks neat. Kinda an ASIA / Slayer / Maiden thing going on. Hope the album does well!

    Thanks man!

I didn't quite like the logo either but our bass player/singer is a graphic designer, so he makes that stuff up. The cover is hand painted actually, it's a reference to thr first song "ananas enemies" (neither of us could spell "anonymous" haha).

The album doesn't do well like a billboard album, but we have more listeners every day!

We also have two videos out, I'll add links later!

I love trying to figure out band names through their crazy logos. It's like a brain teaser. I actually really enjoy when I can't figure it out. I don't get why bands do it, but whatever works for them.

There's a shop down the street from my apartment and their name on their storefront is stylized as: səˈstān

It took me months to learn they're a juice bar called Sustain. I hope they go under for their crappy marketing and for appearing insufferably pretentious.

I don't wish the same ill-will on Justice's band, though!

"Ah, look, it's just an old, creaky mirror, y'know, sometimes it sounds a little like it's sneezing, or coughing, or talking softly."

Curious, what's the actual process for getting an album on Spotify?

you'll have to make an album, send files to Spotify, verify etc and they will put the album out there. You also need a picture!

We had CD Baby print our CD... They also handled getting it on all the major platforms.
