I have an Export 22"x18" bass drum from the 2000's right before Pearl discontinued the Export series. I also have an Export 12" tom from the 80's. Sometime this year I am going to buy a floor tom, and I like poplar shells. Is the hardware on Forum drums as good as the hardware on Export drums? I plan to use this kit, and I need a drum I can count on. Peace and goodwill.

The hardware on Exports is more heavy duty compared to that of the Forum.
Eric G : Pearl,pAiSTe,Remo,Vic Firth,SKB,Roc n Soc,Roland V-Drums. Masters MCX Chestnut fade.

Does hardware from other series fit the forum shells? Just curious in case I come across someone selling or giving away used hardware from another series.
