I'd like to see this kit too. I'd also like to see the 9 piece Masterworks that you ordered in November, as well as your Sonor SQ2 and your Tama Star Bubinga.

Having Photobucket challenges at the moment, bear with me...fwiw the photos Derek opened the thread with are much better than any I can take.
-Star Bubinga is long gone, sold to fund this Artisan Masterworks
-Still waiting on my custom Masterworks order but this one is filling the void nicely

Didn't I post a photo of my Earth finish sq2 a couple years ago?

One thing I really like is the inside of the shells; this isn't mentioned much but the details of the inner ply are very nice!

I'm flattered that you think my memory is that good.

Well I only assumed, seeing as you rattled off 3 projects of mine (almost in sequential order).

Here is the photo from Thomann after they arrived at their facility. I really liked everything about these drums. The finish isn't for everyone (and now it's not for anyone since it's been discontinued) but I liked it because of how unique it looked, plus after the Alpi veneer "controversy" I knew no one would be under the impression that this veneer was anything but engineered.

You own some amazing kits. I can't say that I'm a fan of the finish on the SQ2's, but they are some very impressive drums.

I see that catalog Masterworks kit in the background. Why don't you set it up and use it? Also, what size is that Sonor kick? Is it 20x20 or 20x18, diameter x depth?

Being Sonor it may be a 20x17 Matt, but it does look longer than that!
