New Jersey followed Slippery when Wet. Wanted DOA was a song on Slippery. Blaze of Glory was from the JBJ solo effort for Young Guns II.

Yes. New Jersey was the Bad Medicine record. I always associate jumping the shark with the first bad album, since on Happy Days the jumping the shark episode was not good.

Disagree on BJ "New Jersey"; I think they jumped on the next album "Keep the Faith"

    Keeping on the NJ theme...

You guys are mixing up "jumping the shark" with albums which catapulted into superstardom. New Jersey and Born in the USA are amazing albums with great deep tracks.

I'm on Fire ( guessing the title ) is a great Springsteen song!

We're going by the " putting on the life vest over the leather jacket" scenario.

Because ultimately I think THAT was the wtf moment for the shark episode in happy days!

Haven't jumped it yet but getting ill prepared!

Isn't this all about opinions? Yours is they are great albums. Mine is that they are the albums that showed a marked decline in the quality of the output by the artist.

Ok, it wasn't a vest but a ski belt. The leather jacket...if he loved it that much he wouldn't have subjected it to sea water. Or any other water for that sake!
