    Default New (used) visions.

Picked these up over the summer.

I'm very pleased with the sound so far. Very punchy.

Visions were a great value. I wish they had just changed the name back to "Export" instead of rebranding the Forums... even the Decade Maple has less expensive hardware (and only six lugs on the 14" and 16" floor toms) than the Visions.

Also, hey man... is your cowbell transparent(!)?

Exports are made out of poplar while Visions are made of birchwood. At least as far as i know (there have been maple Exports in the past i believe) that's still the case.

Yes, the cowbell is transparent. A little quieter than steel.

That's an awesome kit, love that type of setup. It's big but not overwhelming.

    What venue is that?

    Hi Aquilla,

The venue is Stonewalls in Hamilton. Decent venue with OK sound. Was subbing for a friend's band. If you're anywhere near Brampton I'm at Spot 1 on the 28th with my Van Halen tribute band.

I bought the kit because of the ease of set up and different configurations I can use. They sound way better than I expected. My old gigging kit (now retired) was a late 80's Yamaha Turbo Tour. (8000 series)
