Yep. You would think that if pearl offered a 14x10 concert tom that they would also offer a 14x10 rack tom (double-headed).

Obviously, this set is not practical and over the top for most people.
I mean, you only need 3 drums to play. But with all these sizes I can create any type set I need.

Whip out the 20 inch bass and small toms for a jazz kit. A 15, 16,18, 24 Bonham Setup- A "full monty" Neil Peart setup or anything in between.
I am an "emergency drummer" filling in for bands at the last minute- so I need different setups from time to time.

I have the cowbells, wind chimes and glockenspiel. I've ordered a rack system because the all stands are taking up all the room.
The Pearl rack is ugly. Wish it had chrome rails instead of ugly aluminum.
I went with a chrome Gibraltar system.

On my Peart replica, i went with two icons as side racks, and they're perfect, with a tom/cymbal stand up front an a normal snare and hi hat.Name: DOTM 5.jpg

I never look in this sub-forum. I saw Neil Peart from the main page and was like "I have to see this." Congrats on such a lovely kit. Even got the 18" Pang!
