Ok, I will. So I was seriously in the market for a new kit. This one was in the running.

After discussing it in this thread, Marquis later told me about the blue lacquer Sessions kit.

I later found the MCX kit we all know and love'

About a month after the purchase of my MCX , I had noticed this Prestige Maple had sold from the Guitar Center in Katy Texas.

Tonight I'm check used gear and look what's back.

But now in Albany New York. So I think " wow someone took a beating, and fast."

Then read the specks. It's missing the 16" & 18" floor toms!

So $899 plus tax and shipping and GC dropped it $350 in Albany?

I'm guessing some one really wanted the FT's !

I once had a Prestige Session Select kit in Black Mist. It sounded incredible! Sizes were 10X10 tom, 12X10 tom, 14X14 floor tom, 16X16 floor tom, and 22X16 bass drum. Tom batter heads were Evans G2 Coated. Bass batter was Remo Clear Powerstroke 3 (zero muffling). If Pearl would re-introduce it, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of those kits again. Unfortunately, I was stupid and I sold mine! I do regret it.
Looking to sell 22X18 Diamond Burst Masters Studio (BRX) bass drum. PM if interested.

That would be a cool kit. I like those sizes!

But the whole kit, or what's left of it is in Albany instead of Katy Texas. I've made offers before on a big kit someone traded in. I tried to buy a kick 14" 16 & 18". They said no dice

Edit: it was the 13" I offered on with the 16" 18.

    It had been a double kick kit but instead of 10" 12" 14" & 13" 16" 18"

They had 10 12 13 16. On one kit and just the 14 18 on the other.

Looking at the Prestige Session Select kit. Looks like a wine red. But it appears as if wood grain is visible. Anyone have info on them they'd like to share? Thanks!

Red Wine I think. I can't recall the year ('97 or '98) ? they were a blend of maple and mahogany.
