Does anyone know or can tell if this kit is a matte bubinga finish as opposed to high gloss...also, is this the new nickel hardware?

So...found out that this is indeed "Satin Bubinga", inside and out, with Nickel hardware...

Heres a better picture of the finish
Looks like Matte finish to me.

Gloss works better on highly figured exotic finishes for me. For other less figured wood veneers, I prefer satin (not to be confused with the hardware) finishes.

I don't know if anybody is still reading this, but can you maybe show or explain the difference between the matte and satin finishes?
Depending on the underlaying finish they sometimes look identical, but also different to me.
My previous Ludwig kit; Pearl Sensitone Aluminum , Pork Pie, Black Panther and Crush snares.

Thank you, yes, you're right.
I found that myself too and included some of it in my thread about this topic if anyone is curious:

Thank you, yes, "hazy/cloudy" was the word I was missing.
And those drums really look nice, are they all yours?
I am also going for a zebrawood finish, although the one called "black mist over zebrawood".
But then again, with any finish in matte or satin from any company, I have seen that it really depends on the angle and lighting condition, so it is really hard to generalize.
Even when I have found a matte or satin finish type I liked, after looking for it from other sources, it actually looked quite similar to other ones I might not have liked as much.
Or the other way around.
So I am probably just overthinking it...
I have seen enough examples of the Pearl Matte finish where it looked great under similar lighting conditions I have, so I will just go with that.
