    Default Yamaha Recording Customs Drums

    Hey PDF ladies and gents!

Just wanted your opinion on some shells for sale in my neck of the woods.
They are Yamaha recording custom drums (pre YESS mounts)
    Sizes are 22 , 10 , 12 , 13 , 16.

If the bearing edges are good, do you think $700 CDN is a reasonable price?

    Thanks!

Buy them now! Fantastic drums! I have such a kit from 1988, and a kit from 2013. Also, a 9000GA from -83, and they all sound so amazing!

Hello, I have a Pearl GLX Kit that I love, and I just came across a really sweet deal on a 2019 Yamaha recording custom kit. The GLX shells are rather thick maple, lacquered inside & out, the Yammies are rather thin birch... Do you believe the difference between the 2 will be strikingly dissimilar? The batters are the same, (emperors) As will the tuning. Thank you!
