Jeff, the drums sound great dude! Glad to see you behind a kit again. Was years ago that I first saw you playing on an electronic (Yamaha, I think) kit.

But about the badges. I think Dale was wondering if you were going to install them on the kit as well(?).

Correct about the Yamaha e-kit; I wish I still had it.

re badges: I will be installing one on the kick drum and one on the floor tom, but not the upper toms. I only have three left and I think they would take up too much real estate on the small drums. I'm also having a decal made for the front kick head.

Awesome! Can't wait to see it. Are you planning on ordering more badges?

Thanks for all the kind words.

I'm very seriously considering adding an 8" tom to my kit in the form of a Keller, 8-ply maple shell. I can't build one because even my smallest trim router won't fit through the diameter of an 8" shell. I had an 8"x8" on my Pearl kit and I really liked it. I also love the look of 3 up, 1 down.

No, I'm not going to be making any more drums so I don't need more badges.

just got some pics of a snare I built for my buddy Sam. 7x14 European Beech with Walnut splines. This drum has already appeared on a couple of sessions he did and is the last drum I built.
