Default New (to me) 1980 Ludwig Big Beat

I picked up this vintage Ludwig Big Beat kit earlier this week. Built around 1980-1982. 6-ply shells, stained finish.
There are a some minor scratches on the finish and some rust on the inside screws. Otherwise the kit is in great condition, all lugs turn perfectly and the drums tune up great. Awesome sound, totally different from my acrylic Kirchhoff kit.

1980-ish Ludwig Big Beat in a stained finish.

Beautiful kit, Guillaume! I have stained-wood-finish envy

I'm tempted. Not sure if I'll do it now or later... Maybe I should get the Ludwig logo for the head and better pictures...

Cheers guys! Really happy how the sound turned out with proper heads.

All I need now is a Ludwig decal for the kick and another 14" Tama snare stand. (I have a 12 inch and I don't like having 1 Pearl snare stand in a full Tama hardware setup... Yeah, I'm one of those )

I checked the website, the international shipping cost is huge :/

I should receive a logo in the next couple of days/weeks. The shop where I buy my stuff contacted Ludwig Europe for one. Thanks for the link though! If the logo I receive is just a sticker on a transparent background I might contact them and see if they can do something about the shipping cost.
