I still have my iPhone 4 or 5 for pics. I can upload as many as I want easily. I just have to be home to use my wifi.

Would someone from Pearl kindly respond? Many members have been asking respectively. Ignoring all of our requests for an answer about the future of the app is unacceptable for a company that prides themselves on customer relations. Your lack of a response speaks volumes.

What upsets me is that we all know these posts are being read by reps at Pearl and they don't think we are worthy of a response, yet they think they worthy of our business. It doesn't work that way.

They do not care whether this forum exist or not at this point. I don't think it generated sales like it once did.

It may not be generating the sales it once did, but repeatedly ignoring the requests of many Pearl customers will certainly have a negative effect on sales.

I think all the drum companies realized that facebook, twitter and instagram are better platforms than these sites for communicating with their audience.

You're probably right, but that doesn't explain why Pearl won't give us the courtesy of an answer.

I doubt that Pearl has an in-house app developer that builds this. When dealing with mobile phone software you have to deal with constant Android and IOS updates along with constant security vulnerabilities and having to deal with making sure that the app will work on all of the countless types of Android phones on the market. Every time they have to patch a bug, do QA testing to make sure it works with the latest and greatest phone hardware, deal with an operating system update, etc. they either have to pay an outside developer or an in-house developer to constantly making sure the apps work for everyone and doesn't pose security risks for the users. When factoring all of that in with the fact that it produces zero direct revenue for the company, they may have proverbially said "screw it". I just look at the PDF on my Chrome browser on my phone and it works perfectly fine for me.

I wonder how much it would cost to update the app so it would work with the new OS(?)... Hell, I'd pay a portion to help out if it meant I could use the app on my phone again. I just don't think it's worth the time or money for the 50 active members on here...

It's a shame the other members aren't more active. PDF will go on for months and boom some left fielder will comment and then fade into the green monster again.

Meaning they're reading but not participating. I was on my laptop the other day and viewing Export section along with 17 guests. Just join and speak up already!
