Default UD: Feb25 -16, New Pearl Reference Pure kit in ultra blue fade, lots of pics

    Update Feb 25th 2016:
Hello dudes and dudettes! Finally I had a little time after band practice to shoot few new pics. Also new bass drum heads (actually stickers only) with soon to come Thunderstone album graphics!

    Whole kit:

    Update feb 15th 2016:
Thunderstone - The Path music video released. You can see these beauties on video. And I mean drums, not those fat old rockers around them!
    Check the video from here:

So at Tuesday I finally got my new Pearl Reference Pure kit that I ordered at september. Timing couldn't be any better cause we started video shootings with Thunderstone at Wednesday. So I took my camera and video camera, picked up my drum kit from SMI, Helsinki and went to Sonic Pump Studios where we shooted video to build my drum kit up. But first some specs.
    Sizes
BD's: 18"x22" and two of those of course
    TT's: 8"x10" ja 9"x12"
    FT's: 16"x16" ja 16"x18"
SN: Pearl Hybrid Exotic cast aluminum 6,5"x14"
I also had Pearl Demon Chain double pedal that I mostly use as two singles.
And now the pictures, snare first:

    And then the main thing.:

That's it. Hope you liked it. I know I do! And if you get this far, here is a little timelapse video about building the thing up:

    I took few new pictures today at my rehearsal place. Just to notice that drums are already getting a bit dusty. Have to bring some cloth next time. But here;

I set my Nokia Lumia 820 phone to shoot a little clip from my warm up before practice yesterday. So sounds straight from phone's microphone but maybe you can have some kind of image from this video how the kit sounds:
WARNING: Only some brain fart warming up "playing". So don't expect any fancy stuff.

Here's a video filmed from our gig in Helsinki. Not a pro shot but I still quite ok:

This is a music video Thunderstone - Fire And Ice -song. I got these drums just day before video shooting! https://youtu.be/AAqBwmzWGYw

That finish is incredible. Whoa!!! Ha. The snare shell looks like an Ultracast. I hadn't heard of the Exotic Hybrid before. Absolutely gorgeous kit. Congrats to you.

As somebody who likes their toms and cymbals as low as possible, this cymbal setup drives me crazy! But that's a beautiful finish and a slick-looking kit. Nice!

Love that finish. Manly-sized floor toms.

Awesome kit! I dig the crazy high cymbal rig. World class finish on those shells.
