Default 9pc EXR, ICON rack, now with Halo!! Many pix!!

Just shy of a year ago, I decided I wanted to redo my setup after seeing a picture on the Pearl website. I decided to add a halo to my existing ICON rack setup. After months of looking for parts, and getting the money together to buy everything, it has finally become a reality! Here's some pictures to take you through the process. I'm limited to 4 pictures per post, so this will be a few posts long. I hope you enjoy and feel free to fire any questions you may have at me

Completed first setup of the whole kit. Some adjustments were made after this, heights, spacing, etc. The halo itself was also raised about 6-7" and moved forward to line up better with the front of the base rack itself

Quite the labor of love, and definitely not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm **** proud of how this little project turned out! I hope y'all dig the pix and again, feel free to fire off any questions about the setup or my sanity LOL

Cool man, I wouldn't do a halo with my kit but I like your set up.

It's like 1987 all over again!!

Looks impressive, but is that second tier very sturdy?
I own or have owned drums and cymbals made by every major manufacturer. My go-to kit is a DW Collectors series set.

Like you said, not everyone's cup of tea, BUT I think you recreated that Pearl rack design very well. I didn't see the supports at first and thought, "that will never hold cymbals or toms"... but then I saw your extra support pieces... then it all made sense. Very cool!

I am a child of the 80's, more is more! LOL

It's a lot sturdier than it looks. Granted, there is some "bounce" I guess you could call it but it's a minor thing.

Personally I'd never do a halo rack but man, you killed it. That looks awesome!
